Irizar e-mobility is Attending the Next Mobility Exhibition Fair in Milan

Once again, Irizar e-mobility is participating as an exhibiting company in the Next Mobility Exhibition fair, which is one of the main gatherings for intelligent and sustainable mobility and is held at the Fiera Milano (Rho) convention centre. The presence of Irizar e-mobility at this event demonstrates their commitment to technological innovation and developing zero-emissions public transport solutions.
At this edition, at their stand D01 E10 located in pavilion 11P, Irizar e-mobility is exhibiting a 12 metre Irizar ie bus Efficient, which is a 100% electric vehicle that represents a new generation in the brand’s urban range. Officially presented in October 2025, the model is available in 10, 12 and 18 metre versions, and it is a significant qualitative and quantitative leap on terms of efficiency, design and sustainability.
The new Irizar ie bus Efficient platform incorporates significant improvements that put it at the vanguard of urban electromobility. Among the main developments, we can highlight the reduction in energy consumption of up to 10% over the previous generation and the nearly 1,000 kg weight reduction, which makes it possible to increase the passenger capacity.
The design of the interior has also been optimised to provide a more comfortable and accessible travel experience. The larger doors and aisles guarantee easier, more comfortable and more inclusive access for everyone. It is also more spacious and has better light, which creates a more comfortable and pleasant atmosphere for passengers. In addition, the independent climate control in the driver’s area has been improved and the height and weight of the vehicle has been reduced, which improves driver comfort.
Insofar as the design of the exterior, inspired by the brand’s other models, the new Irizar ie bus Efficient stands out because its strong personality. Its strong lines, alongside a well-defined frontal aesthetic, reinforce its distinctive character. The side elements are visually integrated using a design that connects the windows, panels, and doors into a single harmonious whole.
In line with Irizar e-mobility’s commitment to sustainability, significant progress has been made in the use of recycled materials with this new platform; there is twice as much as the previous platform.
Likewise, the bus meets the most demanding standards in the market, guaranteeing maximum safety at all times.
The Irizar ie bus Efficient has recently been awarded the “2026 Bus of the Year” prize in Spain. The award is given by the jury of the National Transport Awards, which recognise the best industrial vehicles of the year in Spain. The jury is made up of highly representative professionals from the sector and operators from the main transport companies.
